"While prices may have changed since I moved away from Tempe in Summer 2022, I remember El P's as a wonderful hub for late night snack/drinks/etc. runs and a place I'd stock up on in the morning before long door-to-door shifts. Have fond memories of their carne asada fries and hot cheeto burritos. Wonderful employees. Have no clue why they operate 3 comparable business within walking distance of one another (liquor store on rural+more upscale restaurant on Apache) but hey, if it works for them more power to them. Tempe institution, may it never shutter."

"Wow just absolutely delicious. I work uber eats and always pick up from here, with the smell of the food always lingering in my car making me drool .. ... I had to try. Highly satisfied. The workers are my absolute favorite and made me look forward to picking up from there given the fast friendly service. Highly content customer. "So this place has the same name as the liquor store on Rural Road. Very accessible to Arizona State campus! Fear The Fork! This reviewer hasn't walked in, but they're open super late, and we order through a delivery service. The menu here exposes all kinds of options for their meals. For example, try the Paísano Nachos: a base of corn chips and Nacho Cheese, then whatever you want on top. Including carne asada or pico de gallo, diced onion, or shredded cheese or frijoles, and more, more Nacho Cheese Sauce. And also some lime wedges! Gentle Consumer, Have you ever ordered carne asada nachos from a taco stand that dumps a bunch of limp chips into a clamshell, and then gloops the good stuff on top? El Paísano won't fool you like that: they interleave all the good ingredients, and so chips are completely wet down good, how you like it! So make our meal however we want for delivery, and they make it that way! It's amazing. We order it good, they make it excellent for us, tailored to your order. You like choices: El Paísano gives you choices!"

"This market is small and can feel crowded, but it makes up for it by being well stocked with drinks and snacks you might not find elsewhere. The food counter in the back is popular and the staff are friendly, which makes the place feel welcoming. It gets busier on weekends with college students, but overall it’s a solid spot to shop or grab something quick."

"GREAT FOOD! Delicious, cheap, and made-to-order. Perfect for late night food runs. Good snack, drink, and liquor selection. Nice staff. Only reason it’s not five stars is because of the marked-up pricing, one snack run can end up being a little pricey. That being said, trust that I will remain a customer!"
